  • ami akdin bhabchilam jano, tomar protyekta post e dekhi alada alada bason…awesome collection. amar barite jodi ektu beshi jayga thakto. am sick of stacking everything in a small side board.

  • Nice collection Soma!

Well, you are lucky you have enough room to store them. For me, storage is a big a problem and I have to stack them along with my other serve ware. My props always go on the top most shelves and I broke a couple of bowls while trying to pull out something from there.. 🙁 I need to find a new home for my props.. 🙂

  • Ha ha I know what you mean, I don’t have a huge place, so I keep all my things every were, if you look behing my sofa even there you will see my props :-). Sometimes Hans want to take somthing from the shelf, he calls me as he know if he open up things will start falling down 🙂
    Love your collection Soma.

  • What a huge collection !!! and u have got so much storage space…I can understand your fear of loosing more space for blog props 🙂 Really awesome…
Amar tomar ei wooden bowls gulo darun lage

  • is that a “haman diste” and “kunke” and some more puja items…

I think what might look as the Haman Diste (middle left?) is actually a Yerba Mate – teacup make of gourd from Argentina. You are right about the Kunke and the Puja items 😀 The kunke is of my wedding.. used for sindoor daan!

  • Darun collection Soma! India theke ki ki nile ebaar tar ekta pic hoye jaak. 🙂

Sharmila, desh theke ebar praye kichui anini. that small copper kadai and the 2 hand painted handis, a couple of small bows stacked and bari r ma er kichu purono small brass copper plates etc. I wish i had time for more.

  • Soma, what caught my attention the most is that brass pot with two spoons inside (puja items?) – super rustic, damn aesthetic!
You are lucky to have props and the space to keep them. Whenever I mention props to him, he reminds me how I myself will crib about clutter and lack of space in my apartment. That too does not stop me from hoarding though!

  • I think that when one starts collecting something, he or she starts losing control, at least in part. Your collection looks really nice. Are you going to show us the rest as well?

  • Ah yes, I so know what you mean! My props are all out of control and I am seriously running out of space… And I have two places that I stack them!
